Terms of Service

The service

Tacit maintains judgment models built from material you provide and from outcomes you record. It is a decision-support tool: it organizes evidence and surfaces patterns. Hiring decisions, client communication, and the professional responsibility for both remain entirely yours.

The service is under active development. Features may change, and during the design-partner phase they may change quickly. Material changes that affect stored data or pricing will be communicated before they take effect.

Your account and your material

Accounts are personal and accessed via email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure.

The material you bring into Tacit stays yours. You warrant that you are entitled to use the material you submit — including any candidate or client information — in accordance with the laws and confidentiality obligations that apply to your practice.

We may suspend accounts used to attack the service, to process material the account holder has no right to process, or to attempt to extract other users’ data.

Payment

There is no self-serve payment today. The current cohort operates under individually agreed design-partner terms; those written agreements take precedence over this page where they differ.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tacit’s aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account and data at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
